The HCC Alumni Association invites you to join us for HCC's 9th Annual Red, White and Blue Concert Series:

June 9: Maryland Defense Force Band - This concert is dedicated to the Korean War Veterans as part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the truce ending the Korean War.
June 18: The U.S. Navy Commodores
June 23: The 229th U.S. Army Band
July 1: The Pennsylvania Air National Guard Band of the Mid-Atlantic
July 29: 78th U.S. Army Band
Aug. 18: The U.S. Navy Country Current
Aug. 31: U.S. Navy Sea Chanters
Sept. 6: The U.S. Air Force Concert Band
Sept. 14: U.S. Navy Cruisers

All concerts will begin at 6:15 p.m. Co-sponsored by the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, all concerts are free and are open to the public. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please note: No outside food is permitted on the amphitheater grounds.

WJEJ's Mission Statement

More than a half-century ago, when most radio stations were owned by radio broadcasters instead of bottom-line investors, The National Association of Broadcasters (N.A.B.) had a "Code of Good Practices" to which ALL broadcasters adhered.  About twenty years ago, The N.A.B. discontinued the code.  WJEJ did NOT!  The ownership and management has determined that the youngest child to the oldest grandparent should be able to listen to all programming on this radio station without being embarrassed by what they hear.  We make every effort to continue that tradition that began when the station went on-the-air in 1932.
