The Sharspburg Historical Society will hold its March meeting on Monday, March 27, at 7:00 pm in Town Hall, Sharpsburg, 
 
 Jason A. Malott, Washington County's Register of Wills, will present information about the Office, what it does and the resources available to the public.  The Office of the Register of Wills is a public office established under the 1776 Constitution of Maryland.  The Office oversees the administration of decedents' estates within Washington County and provides assistance to individuals administering estates.  And it contains a treasure trove of information to genealogists and historical researchers.

Sharpsburg Historical Society Scholarship of $1,000.00. Applications will

be available to Boonsboro High School graduating seniors planning to

pursue careers in history, historic preservation, museum studies, or
